AirportScope Terms of Service

1. Who we are
AirportScope is a trading name of Hunglish Limited, company number 06516904, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Unit 8 Washington Business Centre, 2 Turbine Way, Sunderland, England, SR5 3NZ.

2. UK launch
AirportScope is currently offered for purchase to customers resident in the United Kingdom. The service may include information relating to airports outside the UK for testing or later expansion, but that does not mean subscriptions are being offered generally outside the UK.
3. What AirportScope provides
AirportScope is a hobby and information service for aviation enthusiasts. It compares aircraft movement information with aircraft data supplied or connected by the customer and produces personalised aircraft-needs information, including scheduled emails and, where available, map information.
AirportScope is not an air traffic, flight-planning, navigation, operational, safety, security or dispatch service. Information can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate and must not be relied on for operational aviation decisions.
4. Your account and aircraft data
You are responsible for providing accurate account details and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must only upload or connect aircraft-log data that you are entitled to use.
The availability and quality of AirportScope results depend on the aircraft data you provide and on third-party movement and position data. A missing aircraft, registration, flight or position does not by itself mean the service is faulty.
5. Prices and subscriptions
The current UK launch prices are £4.99 per month or £50 per year, payable in advance. Hunglish Limited is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to these prices.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the same billing interval until cancelled. The renewal price is the price shown when you subscribe unless we give you clear notice of a change before a future renewal.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time through the Manage subscription button in your AirportScope account. Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless a refund is due, your access normally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
New subscriptions may be cancelled within 14 days of the original purchase for a full refund. To request this, email support@airportscope.co.uk. This voluntary policy does not reduce any statutory consumer rights you may have.
7. Refunds
Outside the 14-day new-subscription period, subscription payments are normally non-refundable once the paid period has begun, except where required by law or where we agree a refund because of a significant service problem. Cancelling a subscription is separate from requesting a refund.
If AirportScope permanently withdraws a paid service before the end of a paid period, we will provide an appropriate refund for the unused period where required.
8. Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete coverage of every airport, or the availability of any particular third-party data source. Providers, airport coverage, features and data formats may change.
We may make reasonable changes to AirportScope to maintain, secure or improve the service. If we make a material change that significantly reduces a paid service, we will act reasonably and respect your statutory rights.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse AirportScope, attempt to bypass account or access controls, interfere with the service, use it unlawfully, scrape or redistribute substantial parts of the service, or use data obtained through AirportScope in a way that infringes another person's rights or a third-party data provider's terms.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or affects rights that consumers cannot lawfully waive.
Subject to those protections, AirportScope is supplied as an enthusiast information service and Hunglish Limited is not responsible for losses caused by relying on AirportScope for aviation operations, safety-critical decisions, travel arrangements or commercial dispatch decisions.
11. Ending or suspending access
We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, serious misuse, unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to put matters right.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, law or business arrangements change. Material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated reasonably in advance where appropriate. The version in force when you purchase or renew applies subject to your statutory rights.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you also retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available to you under the law applicable to you.
