For privacy enquiries, contact support@airportscope.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use AirportScope, we may process:

We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

3. Why we use your information

We use personal data to create and administer your account, provide personalised AirportScope results, deliver scheduled emails and optional proximity alerts by email or phone notification, manage subscriptions and payments, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain security, diagnose faults and meet legal or accounting obligations.

4. Our lawful bases

We mainly process account, settings, aircraft-log and subscription information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you. We process some technical, security and support information where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, protecting and improving AirportScope. We may also process information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Aircraft-log data

Aircraft-log information is used to produce your personalised needs results. It is not sold as a customer list or used for unrelated advertising. You should only upload or connect data that you are entitled to use.

6. Who we share information with

We use specialist service providers where necessary to operate AirportScope. These may include:

We only share personal data to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant service, or where required by law.

7. International processing

Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the safeguards made available by the relevant provider and permitted by law.

8. How long we keep information

We keep active account and aircraft-log data while your account is in use and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for account recovery, dispute handling, security or legal obligations. Billing and transaction records may be retained for the periods required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Technical logs are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting.

You may ask us to delete account data that we no longer need to retain.

9. Browser storage and cookies

The AirportScope account application uses browser local storage to keep you signed in on a device. This is necessary for the account service to function and can be cleared by signing out or clearing browser data.

If you enable phone notifications, your browser creates a device-specific push subscription. You can revoke notification permission in your browser or device settings and remove the device from AirportScope.

Third-party pages, including Stripe Checkout and the Stripe customer portal, may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy and cookie information.

10. Your rights

Under UK data-protection law, depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, object to certain processing, and receive certain data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

To exercise a right, email support@airportscope.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we use your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our service, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published here with its update date.
